Printing Processes

At Forrest Paper and Bridal Company we have four favorite printing methods: letterpress, engraving, thermography, and flat printing.

Letterpress is a technique of relief printing using a printing press. Your type or image will be indented into the paper.  

Engraving is a technique where your type or image will be raised above the paper. This method makes the sharpest image of all traditional printing methods. 

Thermography relies on heat to create type or images on paper.

Flat printing sits flat on the paper. On soft papers, it can appear to be inside of the paper.
